Each of the units has a private kitchen that is equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. All of the units are equipped with Wi-Fi, as well as braai facilities, and some of the units have TVs with Open view.
The Berghuis also has a private swimming pool but please note it can only be accessed by a 4x4.
The area offers a variety of activities ranging from fishing, mountain biking, bird watching, game drives, and river rafting. Guests can also visit the historical Vredefort Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre, the dome is 40 km in diameter and is estimated to be 2000 million years old.

Elgro River Lodge is located on the beautiful Vaal River, and is situated just 30km from Potchfstroom. The lodge offers a choice of self-catering units that can accommodate between 2 to 8 people. The units have 1 ,2 or 4 bedrooms that are furnished with double beds or single beds, and have private bathrooms with baths and showers.
